Six seat dining table in silver maple with integrated steel legs. 30”High X 36”Wide X 84”Long.
This table makes use of unusual ‘fingernail’ shaped boards taken from the trunk underneath a limb of a silver maple in Chicago. This feature would normally have to be cut off square to yield a known, useful piece of furniture. LiveForm design principles allow the shape to be both highlighted and integrated into a functional piece across materials without interrupting the grain.
